Does Shawarmo deliver on weekends?

Our branches are closed on weekends, so weekend delivery isn't available right now. We're open Monday to Friday only. If you'd like to order a Shawarmo wrap on a weekend, your best bet is to grab one before 5 PM Friday — the Arabic Shawarma Platter Combo travels well and feeds a small group.

Does Shawarmo serve pork or alcohol?

No. Shawarmo serves Middle Eastern food made without pork or alcohol of any kind. We are not currently JAKIM-certified, so we don't market the menu as halal — but the kitchen is pork-free and alcohol-free. The Classic Chicken Shawarma uses marinated, freshly-carved shawarma meat — the traditional preparation. The Chicken Zinger Wrap uses crispy fried chicken strips with cheese sauce instead. Both come in lavash with fries. Pick the Classic for traditional shawarma flavor, the Zinger if you're craving something crunchy.

Is there parking at Shawarmo?

Both branches are inside university cafeterias, so parking depends on the campus. Sunway has paid parking around Jalan Universiti and Sunway University. Are Shawarmo's sauces house-made?

Yes — our sauces are made in-house, not bought pre-made. The creamy garlic sauce, shawarma sauce, chili, and tahini are all built from scratch. Where did Shawarmo start?

Shawarmo started in 2021 in Bandar Sunway with a single shawarma spit, one recipe, and an obsession with flavor. We hit 2,500+ wraps served by 2023. In 2025, we opened a second home in Kota Damansara. The mission has been the same since day one — proper shawarma, no compromises.
